Azoza
Provides emergency medical assistance to Profmed members who reside in South Africa while travelling internationally, as well as members in the SADC Region travelling outside their country of residence.
LifeSense
Profmed’s designated service provider for the WHISPA gender-based violence, HIV and trauma support programme.
MediKredit
Profmed’s pharmacy benefit manager. They manage the acute and chronic medication benefits and benefits in terms of the PMB conditions. Chronic medication and conditions are authorised by MediKredit.
Netcare 911
Provides emergency medical transport to Profmed members within South Africa.
PPSHA
PPS Healthcare Administrators is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PPS, providing administration services to Profmed, including claims processing, contribution management, pre-authorisation and call centre services.
PPS
The Professional Provident Society is a financial services company and the parent company of Profmed’s administrator, PPSHA. PPS focuses exclusively on graduate professionals.
